100,000 new tickets have been released for the final booking period of the West End production of Life of Pi. Nuwan Hugh Perera, who is currently the alternate Pi, will take over the title role on 7 September 2022 with Chirag Benedict Lobo joining the cast as the new alternate Pi.  

Since debuting his newest work in March 2022, acclaimed actor/playwright Dan Hoyle has used the stage of The Marsh to shed light on social inequality in America. This summer, Bay Area theatregoers will get another chance to view this riveting look at how male white America has been coming to terms with the current racial reckoning when Hoyle brings Talk To Your People back to The Marsh San Francisco for a limited run from July 30–August 27 (dates/times below).

Miami's newest theater company, Miami Theatre Works, enters its second season with a performance of the brilliantly hilarious Tony Award winning musical comedy, “Avenue Q,” July 21-24, 2022, at the brand new Westchester Cultural Arts Center at Tropical Park.

The Sphinx Organization's 25th anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the 2022-23 concert season with tours and appearances by three of its professional performing ensembles comprised of Black and Latinx artists: Sphinx Virtuosi, the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, and EXIGENCE, Sphinx's vocal ensemble.

Those Women Productions is pleased to stage its production of House of Desires (Los empeños de una casa) by the 17th century Mexican poet, playwright, and theologian, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, in a translation by Catherine Boyle (written for the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004). 

This week marks a very important event for DC area arts education. On June thirteenth, The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts (TTL) held its very first class and co-founders Deb Gottesman, Buzz Mauro and Michael Rodgers never looked back.
